Avodah AscendReal paths. Real support. Across Ohio.

Privacy at Avodah Ascend

Ascend is a planning, discovery, family-support, and connection platform—not a school of record. We intentionally minimize the information we hold.

What Ascend may store

Your Ascend Plan, resume, contact preferences, goals, saved options, progress, practical support preferences, appointment requests, family-account relationships, invitations, consent history, referrals, and learner-reported outcomes.

What Ascend does not collect as enrollment records

Ascend does not ask you to upload transcripts, government IDs, birth certificates, guardianship papers, FAFSA records, IEP files, court records, medical records, or other confidential school-enrollment documents. When a school or provider needs those records, the family sends or brings them directly to that organization.

Your control

Organizations receive your contact information or Ascend Plan Snapshot only when you choose to connect and authorize the handoff. Private support details are excluded from partner sharing by default.

Families and separate journeys

A parent can support a learner and can also have a separate Ascend Journey of their own. A family relationship does not merge assessments, resumes, goals, support needs, or outcomes between family members.

Minors

Learners age 15–17 may begin a limited Journey. Personalized action tools require both learner participation and parent/guardian approval. Either the learner or the parent may start the invitation, but both sides must agree before the minor Journey unlocks. Ascend uses account consent for this gate and does not request confidential identity or guardianship documents.

Inviting someone you know

Ascend may let a signed-in user or learner send a private invitation to someone they know. The invitation contains basic referral information only and never includes the sender’s Ascend Plan, assessment answers, support details, or other private Journey information.

Two sides. One movement.

Find support—or help someone find it.

Avodah Ascend connects people whose education was interrupted with real next steps, while giving schools, workforce programs, employers, and community organizations a trusted way to participate.
