Know before you enroll

You deserve the real story.

The Ascend Score is Avodah Ascend's proprietary quality signal for helping learners and families look beyond marketing and understand the evidence behind a school or program experience.

Your trust is not for sale.

Organizations cannot pay to change an Ascend Score or receive preferential treatment. Subscriptions and advertising support marketplace tools—not ratings.

Ascend Score

Ten dimensions of program quality.

A 0–100 score can combine verified information, structured learner feedback, direct evaluation, provider documentation, and appropriate public data. Evidence strength matters; missing evidence is not silently treated as proof of quality.

How to read a score

Score bands make the number easier to understand.

A score is a summary of the evidence available at the time of evaluation. It should always be read alongside category scores, evidence strength, learner feedback, and the date of review.

Learner voice is evidence—not a popularity contest.

One review never determines a score. Structured learner surveys are moderated and aggregated, and minimum sample rules are used before learner-experience results are treated as publishable evidence.

Premium membership does not buy a better score.

Organizations may pay for marketplace tools, reporting, advertising, evaluation services, or consulting. Payment cannot raise an Ascend Score, remove valid evidence, suppress concerns, or change an evaluator conclusion.

AI can summarize. Humans remain accountable.

Ascend may use AI to summarize supplied evidence and identify patterns. AI does not set or change the underlying numeric score; human evaluators own the final review and approval.

Two sides. One movement.

Find support—or help someone find it.

Avodah Ascend connects people whose education was interrupted with real next steps, while giving schools, workforce programs, employers, and community organizations a trusted way to participate.
